Dominic Dorfner

Dominic Dorfner has been appointed President on September 1, 2024. Previously he served as Senior Vice President of the Automotive Division at Semikron Danfoss. In 2021 Dominic Dorfner joined Semikron Danfoss as Head of the Industrial Business of Danfoss Silicon Power.
Prior to joining Semikron Danfoss Dominic Dorfner has worked in multiple roles for Voith Turbo and as a Consultant for Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. Further, he serves as member of the advisory board for the Frauenhofer Gesellschaft ISIT and is a member of the ISES.
Dominic Dorfner has a PhD in Semiconductor Physics, an Executive Education from INSEAD and lived in Germany, USA, Japan and China.
Peter Sontheimer

Peter Sontheimer brings extensive experience to the power module market, having spent many years in the industry.
Since 2023, he has served as Managing Director of the German Semikron Danfoss companies and Head of the Industry Division, overseeing all core functions from development to production and sales.
Previously, Peter Sontheimer was CSO at Semikron and Managing Director of Semikron International from 2013 to 2023. Prior to that, he spent nearly 17 years at Vincotech and its predecessor organisations, holding various key management positions within the leadership team.
Johannes Krapp

Johannes Krapp has over 17 years of experience in the power electronics market, having held various management positions throughout his career.
In 2024, he became Vice President of the Solutions Division, following his role as Head of Sales in the Industry Division at Semikron Danfoss.
Since joining the company in 2008, Johannes Krapp has led management roles in product management and sales, successfully driving strategic projects across operations and organizational restructuring.
Beyond his corporate achievements, he has shared his expertise as a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt, supervising projects focused on developing new business models.
Johannes Krapp holds a diploma in Electrical Engineering and Management from the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt and has completed executive programs in Management, Leadership, and Strategy Development at INSEAD and Kienbaum.
Carsten Götte

Carsten Götte brings nearly 25 years of extensive experience in the automotive industry, having worked with several leading global automotive companies.
In November 2024, he joined Semikron Danfoss as Senior Vice President of Automotive. Before this, he served as Senior Vice President and a member of the Executive Committee at ZF Friedrichshafen AG, overseeing their E-Mobility division.
Earlier in his career, Carsten Götte held senior executive positions at Continental Automotive GmbH, primarily focusing on electrification.
Carsten Götte is a Dr. rer. nat. (PhD) and holds a degree in chemistry of the University of Regensburg and has completed additional studies in Marketing and Strategic Management.
Markus Menne

Markus Menne has broad management experience in finance, having held key positions in both industrial companies and banking.
In 2022, Markus Menne was appointed Senior Vice President of Finance & Systems at Semikron Danfoss. Prior to this, he worked at Danfoss Silicon Power from 2014 and ultimately advanced to the role of Senior Director Finance & Procurement. Markus Menne started his career with the Danfoss Group in 2006, where he was responsible for Treasury and Risk Management activities at Sauer-Danfoss. In 2012, he was promoted to Director Group Funding at Danfoss.
From 1995 until joining Danfoss, Markus Menne held various finance positions in banking and industry companies.
Markus Menne is a German citizen and lives in Germany. He holds a Diploma in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Hamburg.
Mette S. Nordstrøm

Mette S. Nordstrøm has been with Danfoss since 2006, building a strong foundation in Strategy and Marketing across multiple business areas. Since 2013 she has been responsible for Strategy, Marketing and Communications at Danfoss Silicon Power in Flensburg.
Now, as Vice President of ESG, Communications & Strategy, Mette S. Nordstrøm is involved in shaping Danfoss' commitment to environmental, social, and governance excellence.
Mette S. Nordstrøm's educational credentials include a B.Sc. in International Business Administration, a M.Sc. in Business Administration, Strategy & Leadership from Aarhus School of Business (2006) and an Executive Education from INSEAD.
Mette S. Nordstrøm has been a member of LEM COMTA (Council of Market and Technology Advisors) in 2024.
Christian Strahberger

Christian Strahberger brings 24 years of leadership experience, having served as CEO, COO, or Division Head in industrial technology and machinery companies. Before joining Semikron Danfoss in January 2025, he headed the division Performance Drives at Danfoss Power Electronics and Drives.
Christian Strahberger began his career in 2001 with Siemens AG's internal consulting division. He subsequently joined Voith GmbH in 2009, leading the Service Business unit of Voith Paper before becoming CEO of the Marine Division at Voith Turbo. In 2018, he was appointed CEO of Schottel GmbH, a marine propulsion specialist. Prior to joining Danfoss, Christian Strahberger served as Board Member and COO of Singulus Technologies AG, a manufacturer of specialty machinery for the solar, medical, and semiconductor industries.
Christian Strahberger holds a PhD in Semiconductor Physics from the Technical University of Munich.
Peggy Hutchinson

Peggy Hutchinson has been with Danfoss for three years, initially serving as the Global Business Partner in the Power Solutions Incubation Division, which includes our valued colleagues at Danfoss Editron. Since 2023, she has led CER HR. Before joining Danfoss, Peggy Hutchinson spent over a decade as HR Director at Accenture/SinnerSchrader in Germany, where she specialized in change management and integrating global acquisitions. With more than 20 years of expertise in people & culture and organizational development across international organizations, she brings a wealth of experience to her role.
Originally from Germany, Peggy Hutchinson lives in Hamburg and operates from our German locations. She holds a master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Hamburg, Germany.
Bjørn Asmussen

Bjørn Asmussen brings over 25 years of experience in the drives and power electronics industry.
He joined Semikron Danfoss as Vice President of Procurement in June 2023. Before that, Bjørn Asmussen was Head of the Drives Procurement organization at Danfoss, where he began his career in 2005. His professional experience at Danfoss includes various local and international roles within procurement.
Before joining Danfoss, Bjørn Asmussen held several international positions with Motorola Inc. Group and Siemens AG from 1995 to 2005.
A Danish citizen, Bjørn Asmussen has lived and worked in Denmark, Germany, and the United Kingdom. He holds a Diploma in Procurement and Supply Chain Management.
Phoenix Zhao

Phoenix Zhao has a diverse and extensive background in Quality and Operations Management, with a strong focus on the automotive industry. She has held various positions demonstrating adaptability and expertise in overseeing and improving processes to ensure high standards and operational efficiency.
Phoenix Zhao joined Semikron Danfoss in June 2024. Prior to that, she served as COO and Vice President of Global Quality at VIA Optronics. Before her time at VIA, she held various managerial positions at Hella in Asia, overseeing Quality, Project, and Warranty Management.
Phoenix Zhaos’s experience spans multiple areas of operations, from Production to Quality Control, and she excels in cross-departmental collaboration to drive continuous improvement and optimize overall performance.
